Oh shit!

So if you (Edmond) guys haven't yet, you should totally open up an OPT checking account at Oklahoma Fidelity bank, choose the "free 50$" sign up (cause you go to UCO right?) with "free 25$ annually" and the "daily interest on balance" and start rolling in the doh.

Which, brings me to my next point, the title of this post.

I'm going to close my old account (I'm thinking, there is no real point in keeping it open) which is linked to the 1and1 which controls my domain. Close the former, the latter has to close too. Which means, kobaj.net would no longer exist (again!).

11 dash 3 dash 2010 is the date to remember (I think, fuck knows). So for the last few months I'm going to be saving kobaj.net and all these wonderful (pffffft) posts in case I want to one day resurrect it (low monthly payment of 8.99$).

BUT, I promise to bring you the readers (who we kidding, its just you and me Georgia), lots of fun java goodies! Because I'm programing in java, and it sounded like fun, and I don't have enough on my plate already...*looks sheepishly at his poor untouched game engine, I'll work on you honey, I promise!*

So, what happens once everything goes down? Who knows, I never really needed a website in the first place (though, I've learned so much html, php, etc, and I'm rather proud of that). If I feel the world needs to know my crazy I might go old school livejournal. Or Twitter. Or furaffinity. Or Facebook. I'm still writing for HackADay. Or who knows!

TLDR; Site is coming down, bunch of fake promises, gnight!

Because everyone spends their saturdays making WFFs...right?

This is actually a poem, sort of. I've always had a special place in my heart for TTL, and most recently learned you can actually write it (woot, learning in college!).

I like to think its not complete, but I know I won't work on it again. At least not this one. The best part is, I have no idea if its solvable. I assume its satisfiable, would be a kick if it wasn't. Part of the fun.

So, happy birthday to me

by: kobaj at 2010-08-26 20:10:31

I accidentally missed my HAD birthday. I've been writing for over a year, some 225 articles. Longer than Mike (though, I literally have a quarter the amount of articles). I liked to think mine were special.

And I received this comment about them,

Ideas are hard

by: kobaj at 2010-08-14 14:00:22

No, really. Long story short I've been wanting to print a t shirt that "absolutely represents me". The difficulty however is coming up with an idea. I had a base, and a few items picked out, engineering, electronics, etc. And most importantly programing...
